His work followed different cinematographic forms, from ethnographic film to experimental documentary. Gaspard Kuentz (1981) settled in Tokyo in 2003 to study cinema at Eiga Bigakko school. In 2005, he directed the short fiction film „Chinpira Is Beautiful“ for Yakuza 23 Ku series distributed and sold in Japan (Bandai Editions).
