Kumjana NovakovaDirector

Kumjana Novakova is the director of the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival and its co-founder.

She studied political science and social research in Sofia, Sarajevo, Bologna and Amsterdam, focusing on the issues of identity, until she co-founded the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival in 2006. She has worked with creative documentary cinema and audiovisual arts ever since, and she collaborates with other festivals and art platforms as a programmer and curator.

She co-directed SK 2014 (B&H, Macedonia, Spain, 2014) and When Clouds Burst (Macedonia, 2014).

Kumjana mostly lives between imaginary and real places, loving film, cinema and life

Sejla HeljaProduction, Finance and Admin Coordinator

Sejla graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Sarajevo. She was first introduced to the work of Pravo Ljudski in 2008, as a volunteer at the festival’s 3rd edition, unaware that she would one day become a part of the Pravo Ljudski team.

Maja AbadžijaMain Programme Coordinator

Maja Abadžija graduated from Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, with a MA degree in Literatures of the People of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosnian Croatian, Serbian language, and BA degree in Russian language and literature. She works as a journalist and writes literary and film criticism.

Fatima BilčevićFestival Producer

Fatima Bilčević graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, with a MA degree in Comparative Literature and Librarianship. She is interested in drama, theater, film and art criticism.

Emina AdilovićCommunications Coordinator

Emina Adilović graduated at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, where she is also currently completing her master studies, in Comparative Literature and Librarianship. She is currently employed as a promotor of Bookstan International Literature Festival in Buybook, publishing house. She is interested in films, narratology, information science and cultural management.

Almir KljunoYouth Programme Coordinator
Almir Kljuno was born in Sarajevo, where he lives and works. He studied a literature at Faculty of Philosophy. He has Masters in Comparative Literature, with theme focused on genre characteristics in movies of R. W. Fassbinder. Works as social media manager and designer. He is an author of Nadrealistički integracionizam and Muslim Vaporwave. He publishes photos at He's a member of literary magazine (sic!). Works at Pravo Ljudski since 11th edition.
