Synopsis
“The Stimming Pool” is an experimental – at times fantastical – hybrid feature film, co-created by a collective of autistic artists, the Neurocultures Collective, and filmmaker Steven Eastwood, who invite you into a neurodiverse world within the undulating logic of neurotypical environments.

“Prostor stimulacije” eksperimentalni je – ponekad fantastički – hibridni igrani film, kojeg su zajedno kreirali grupa autističnih umjetnika, Kolektiv Neurocultures, i režiser Steven Eastwood, koji gledaoca pozivaju u neurodiverzitetski svijet unutar valovite logike neurotipičnih okruženja.
Directors Biography
The Neurocultures Collective is part of the “Autism through Cinema” research project, which asks: What kinds of moving images are possible when they derive from neurodivergent experiences? Neurocultures focuses on how divergent creativity can subvert neuronormative cinema, generating progressive images and providing alternative readings and perspectives of being in the world.
